How to Contact
The Seppala Siberian Sleddog Project
IT ISN'T VERY EASY to get in touch with
us, unfortunately.
For the sake of the dogs, we are located on a relatively
remote parcel of unserviced Yukon bush. We make do without
running water, electricity, telephone, cable TV, and direct
Internet connections.
Also our available time can
sometimes be pretty scarce. So we like to think that this
website answers all the questions for us! Be sure your question
cannot be answered by the website before you contact us.
We do have an arrangement now with a local business to use their ADSL
line from time to time, so that we can connect directly to
our website, read e-mail, and so forth. In general our setup
is much better than it was when we first started the Project website
in 1998.
So we're a little more accessible
by e-mail than we once were. Please bear in mind, though, that
there's nobody sitting in an office with a 24/7 online
presence to respond to e-mail. We can't guarantee a prompt
response. But, for whatever it's worth, here's our e-mail
address:
SPECIAL
NOTE FOR CANADIANS! If you live in Canada and you have
Seppalas, we very much want to hear from you. The Project
needs all the support it can get from within Canada. Even if
you still aren't convinced that Seppalas should be a
separate breed unto themselves, we'd like to have the
opportunity to talk about it with you, and we would really
like to hear all about your Seppalas. PLEASE drop us a
line!
WE CAN ALWAYS BE REACHED by Canada Post; the address is:
The SSSD Project
J. Jeffrey Bragg and Isa Boucher
P.O. Box 21162
Whitehorse, YT
Canada Y1A 6R1
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND that it's either e-mail or letter post; there are no other options. We have no telephone and no fax. If you think you might be visiting the Yukon, drop us a note well in advance. We'll arrange for a visit and tell you how to find the place, but it has to be set up ahead of time, because there's no phone and very few people in Whitehorse know how to find us.
