Her "LL" litter sired by HERCULES OF SEPP-ALTA, whelped 29 November 1991, yielded five lead dogs out of eight pups; her next litter sired by RIVER VIEW'S HURLEY produced three leaders out of four pups. That, in our view, says it all. Dreama was bred by Deborah Serbousek of WINDIGO Kennels and Outfitters. Before coming to us, she had already played a vital role in the Carolyn Ritter's RIVER VIEW breeding programme. Throughout her life Dreama, with her friendly temperament, was "kennel mascot," greeting visitors with a bright "OOO-row-row!" In overall type and appearance we always thought she looked "like she just stepped off the schooner 'Nanuk'" (the ship that brought many of the 1910-era Siberia imports to Alaska) -- and in point of fact, she strongly resembled some of the sable females that came from the Sergei Solovyev Russo-Siberian lineage.

DREAMA'S greatest achievement, her highest contribution to Seppala Kennels and to the evolving Seppala Siberian Sleddog breed, was the "LL" litter sired by the immortal "Hank" (HERCULES OF SEPP-ALTA). By their working attitude and their cooperative, loving temperament, these dogs have made an ineradicable impression on the development of the breed. They were an extraordinary litter of outstanding sleddogs; they are growing very old now; we shall be heartbroken to lose them. As for "Dreama-Seppalina," she will be forever missed by Isa and Jeffrey; she was utterly unique.
