A beautiful long-coated, blue-eyed white bitch, SPRITE was an excellent and trustworthy command leader. Bred at the Ritter River View kennels out of the famous brood bitch POWDER OF MARKOVO, Sprite was sired by Carolyn's fine Hank/Ali leader PETER OF SEPP-ALTA. At Seppala Kennels we used Sprite extensively in training our younger sleddogs due to her great reliability and calm nature. She had two fine litters by XPACE OF SEPPALTA, one of which produced our best leader to date, TONYA OF SEPPALA. Sprite somehow seemed to inspire confidence among the dogs hooked behind her and in the driver as well. We enjoyed driving her at lead and always knew that she would make special allowances if there were green pups in her team.
SPRITE had a gentle, affectionate temperament along with great competence as a brood bitch. These qualities have propagated strongly in successive generations of her descendants, along with her intelligent, cooperative nature.
