• SeppalaWiki - The NEW Seppala Online Knowledge Base! A Wikipedia-style Seppala encyclopaedia is now being built. First created on 23 April 2006, it is growing rapidly. Qualified and interested supporters of the SSSD Project are encouraged to participate in this wiki work. It's easy and it's fun. Those who would enjoy helping build SeppalaWiki are encouraged to ask Jeffrey for the log-in password (necessary to prevent vandalism). No log-in is needed to view the pages, though. • Sleddog Legacy Online - A NEW, INNOVATIVE, continuously-published online newsletter for the recreational dogsledding and legacy sleddog breeds communities, FREE and PUBLIC! No sign-up, no membership fees, no obligation. Underwritten and brought to you by the International Seppala Association and The Seppala Siberian Sleddog Project, this exciting new publication will offer real-time news, opinion, articles, announcements, genetics and breeding information, and more. Specifically for Seppala Siberian Sleddogs and Chinook Sled Dogs, but not by any means limited to those breeds, this is YOUR newsletter for sleddog breeds and family dogsledding sport. • International Seppala Association - A new star rises on the Seppala horizon: the I. S. A. serves Seppalas, Chinooks and other historic sleddog breeds. A protective, educational, and record-keeping worldwide association that anyone may belong to, I. S. A. will provide a secure future for the true Seppala lineage. • canadasguidetodogs.com - The Canada's Guide to Dogs website aims to be a comprehensive information and resource site for all Canadian dog enthusiasts. The site includes detailed breed information; listings of breeders, kennels, clubs, groomers, trainers, shelter and rescue organizations; information on health and nutrition; a section dedicated to the working dog; dog sports and activities; and more. It seems to be a growing site, worth checking out periodically. They deserve your support!
   
• lasonrisanordica.com - A well-done Spanish website -- the name means "the Nordic smile" -- whose primary emphasis is on Northern dog rescue and education about the special character of sleddog breeds. Partly in English, partly in Spanish, it contains many interesting photos, documents and links -- well worth a visit!
   
• fulldogs.com - An interesting collection of articles, links and information for the dog fancy in general. One of those sites that are great fun for just browsing around, because you never know what you might find!
   
• groups.yahoo.com/group/SeppalaSiberianSleddog - An open e-mail discussion group for the Seppala Siberian Sleddog as a breed. Anyone may join without approval, members may post anything to do with Seppalas as long as postings are kept on a mature and polite level. This is a broader forum that may involve Seppalas, Chinooks, Mackenzie River Huskies, Yakut Laikas, Alaskan Village Dogs, M'Loot-strain Mals, White Water Lake Siberians -- any threatened historic sleddog minority. • PawVillage.com - A traditional-breeds site whose main asset is a large and pretty well-done pedigree database. SSSDs not included, but Siberian Huskies are and it's generally quite useful for checking out old pedigrees.
   
• canine-genetics.com - Home of The Canine Diversity Project, where you can find many population-genetics oriented articles written for dog breeders in plain English. I'm proud to have three of my articles represented in this useful and distinguished collection.
   
• yourpurebredpuppy.com - A site with a good, well-explained argument for a more natural way of feeding your dogs than the pressure-cooked floor sweepings dished up by the big corporations.
   
• Doglinks.co.nz - Leading you into New Zealand's dog web. Information about working dogs, training issues, dog problems, a listing of dog clubs, trainers, breeders and kennels, canine health and care, a dog blog for discussions, and a section for teachers and students. The Dog News Section is updated daily.
   
• Pet Health, Dog Health, Cat Health - Pet-Health.org is the place to find useful and FREE resources about your pet's health. If you are seeking information on the wellbeing of your pet's, please explore all Pet-Health.org has to offer.
   
• wikipedia.org - Open-source online encyclopaedia project in process of development. Fascinating, and it has some good bits on population genetics. Jeffrey is a contributor; not on genetics, though -- I work mostly on expanding their list of dog breeds.
